About Dr Aanchal Gupta

Dr Aanchal Gupta is a highly sought after Ophthalmologist, who is passionate about refractive surgery and restoring impaired vision. She currently practises out of her own clinic, IVISION LASER based in Adelaide. Dr Gupta specialises in vision correction procedures such as SMILE, LASIK, PRK, phakic Implantable Lens Surgery (ICL) and Refractive lens-based surgery (RLE). As the first surgeon in South Australia to perform several new and ground-breaking ophthalmological surgeries, she is deeply involved in ongoing research and trials in the field.

Dr Gupta was recently awarded the fellowship to the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences in recognition of excellence in surgical skills and having mastered the practice of Refractive Surgery. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Gupta is also a RANZCO College Councillor, a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, and is the Australian and New Zealand Ambassador for the World Refractive Surgery Alliance (RSA). She is also part of the committee of management for Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (AUSCRS).
